On October 7, 2022, Sedrick T. Walker II received the endorsement of the non-partisan Houston Association of Women Attorneys in the race for Harris County Criminal Court at Law No. 11.  

Founded in 1976, the Houston Association of Women Attorneys (AWA) is a non-profit organization composed of attorneys, judges, and law students who are interested in promoting women and the interests of women in Houston's legal community.
